Formed in 1977.

Raised a storm in the Midlands before heading South to London to later become both The Kicks and We're Only Human.

The Kidda Band made two 45s between 1978 and 1979.  Their first single Everybody Knows has since become a much sought after collectors item. Although the single rarely becomes available,  when it does, it changes hands for as much as  £205/$360. Second single Fighting my way back has also begun to become a collectors item more recently, this one changing hands for as much as £120/$208

Three other singles  as The Kicks and We're Only Human followed. Two other fluid band side projects also existed for single gigs in the early days. Find out more here.

And since then?

An album (called Too Much Too Little Too Late) was released in 2000 which brought together all of the  Kidda Band  45s, B-sides and lots of studio recordings and demos never heard before ............read the rave reviews it received upon release. Since it Sold Out, the album has also become a bit of a collectors item - changing hands for as much as £38/$67.

There is now a choice of two great Incredible Kidda Band T-Shirt designs available.

The first design (on the left) was the must have item in Nuneaton back in 1977 when local band The Incredible Kidda Band played the 77 Club. A new solo album of Alan Hammonds material is now available. The new album features more of his powerful melodies, strong tunes and some of the best lyrics of his life.

Plus, more good news for global Kidda Band fans.....the discovery of the great "Lost Demos" has meant that songs of the band are available for the first time since 2000. Lost but not forgotten these last few tracks have finally been unearthed and made available for the first time.

COMING SOON:

Despite these two releases, there are still plans for another album of unreleased Kidda Band gems. Kidder was in the studio earlier this year, with the team that brought you "Too Much Too Little Too Late", to fine tune another batch of  songs ready for a 2007 release!!
